With it's beautiful panelling design, the natural timbers of the Patio Planter by Rowlinson will fit into any style of garden. Featuring pressure treatment for protection against wood rot, this long-lasting planter is perfect for flowers, herbs or vegetables.
This is the simple solution to adding some colour and interest to the edge of your patio. The planter does require some assembly and is supplied with easy to follow instructions.
The Planters are great, as with all Rowlinsons products. However, I did have issues with both the transport companies you use. the first one delivered 2&1/2 packs which only allowed me to build 2 planters. I obviously, complained and was promised several times that the missing section would be delivered in a day or so. This did not happen so after several messages of reassurance and no missing pack. I cancelled the 3rd pack and was again promised prompt collection. Alas, the lax approach was there, I waited in especially to have the remaining part collected but no show on the transport scene. Eventually after a stiff email, from me, the part was collected. The driver informed me that he was off on that particular delivery day and his run was not covered. That means they were not truthful,
by promising me that collection date. These transport companies, not a good recommendation, too your firm's good name.

The planter comes in 5 pieces. It takes two people to assemble it really. Would be far more difficult with one. You need a drill and mallet and a little bit of brute strength. Once assembled it looks very good and the quality is high. Would purchase from them again.

Had purchased the same planter some years ago and was delighted with it. Assembling this one was a bit more problematic - chisel was required to shave away some of the wood to get end piece to 'jigsaw' into position. That said, it's now assembled with its coat of ebony stain and plants in place and looks terrific.

Disappointing quality control. I have bought two of these in recent years and the manufacturing process seems to have changed. The result is significant distortion of the panels hindering a the tight assembly experienced with earlier examples of this product.

Rowlinson Planters are sold via various online retailers. The one I received via Garden Street wasn't wrapped in plastic, which is a good thing as it doesn't sweat so is ready to put together. A bit of basic woodwork ability and the right equipment (drill with 4mm wood bit, mallet, robust screwdriver - preferably powered) are needed. It's wooden so there will be imperfections, but the parts can be persuaded to fit together. It looks as though it will last a 5-10 years before rot inevitably sets in.

I am glad I ordered this planter as it's just what I wanted to clear up my garden from plant pots being scattered around everywhere. The planter looks good and blends in very well with the rest of the garden, having stained it in brown to match the other one. The only thing I would probably criticise would be that I would have liked to have ordered and received a fully assembled item (saving me the inconvenience of putting it together). The item upon arrival was slightly damaged as one of the panel pieces had come away from the others which was not hard to fix. Overall a really good product would definitely order again.

Dissapointing start as item was damaged. Phoned company immediately and advised item was being returned. Customer service was very helpful and a replacement was despatched that day and arrived next morning in perfect condition. I am really pleased with This Item and was very easy to assemble. Ordered planter as it was a good price. Arrived in good time but one end piece missing. Contacted Garden Street who were very helpful and immediately sorted a replacement part which was promptly delivered. Put together quickly and easily and looks great and feels very sturdy. Thoroughly recommend planter and Garden Street.

Came in very poor condition, some pieces broken and a piece missing. Replaced very quickly but first one not collected which was fortunate as the replacement also had a piece missing so had to use a bit from the first one. Service was good but product disappointing and not worth the money. May look better when planted up.

Very well made and easy to put together by following the instructions. The base did not have drainage holes so I rectified the omission. There were one or two rough areas and a couple of dollops of excess glue which were not at all intrusive or objectionable, in fact they added to the "character" of the planter. I have painted it using Cuprinol Garden Shades and it looks very good indeed. Very pleased! Just about to plant it up!

Good solid, if pricey, product. Easy to assemble, but easy to assemble wrongly. Be sure to identify the right way up before screwing the panels together. Line with coco-fibre or hemp mat before filling with compost. Be sure you have it placed exactly before filling, as it is heavy.
I plan to two order more if I see any special offer.

When will I receive my order?
Delivery Estimates are in working days, and the estimated delivery time for each product is shown above the ‘add to basket’ button on the product page.
Deliveries are mostly prearranged directly with yourself within a few days of placing an order; being booked in directly with a member of the delivery team/carriers. This can help to confirm a working delivery date which is best for you. When ordering, please provide an active mobile phone number to help delivery to be promptly booked in, and to ensure that there is no delay in receiving your order.
Please note, that some smaller items which can be posted or go via small carrier may be dispatched immediately, without contacting you first. If you have any doubts over your order status please contact us.
Will I receive a timeslot for my delivery?
As we use a wide range of carriers for delivery, you may not receive a time slot for your order. With most orders, you would be contacted first to arrange a delivery date, so you know in advance what day delivery has been booked in for. If you know you won’t be available for your pre-arranged day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can pass this on to the carriers to investigate the possibility of your delivery being left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Can I choose a specific delivery date within the estimated delivery dates?
Delivery Lead Times are Estimates; if you’re looking to receive a product by or on a certain date, please contact our customer service team before ordering for help and advice.
Is express delivery available?
There may be occasions where we can dispatch items sooner, should there be space available on a delivery run. If you are looking to receive a product sooner than the estimated delivery lead time, please contact us and we can see check delivery availability to see if this is possible.
Some smaller products are applicable for next day delivery. This will be shown in the stock message on the product page, and at stage three of checkout.
If you no longer require an item or if it just isn’t for you, you can return any product(s) as a change of mind within 14 days of receipt of the good(s). This is assuming that the good(s) are unused, in the original packaging, and in the original resaleable condition. Simply contact us at sales@gardenstreet.co.uk for the return address of any items you wish to return.
Please note that perishable goods (such as turf and bulk bags of soil), and made to measure items (Burbage Fencing/Gates/Railings etc) are excluded from return.
