Why Now Is The Best Time To Pre-Order Garden Furniture

In 2020 we all found ourselves using our gardens much more than we ever previously had. With holidays and summer plans cancelled, people looked to update and transform their gardens to make the most of the situation.

The combination of the fantastic weather and more time being spent at home and in the garden meant that garden furniture was in high demand and selling out fast.

Nothing could have prepared us for the spring and summer of 2020, however this year we can make sure we are prepared and ready to be able to enjoy our garden for the entire season.

Why Pre-order?

It may seem like an odd time of year to be thinking of sitting out in the garden when it is cold and dark outside, but buying now will save you a lot of hassle and pressure when the sun finally reappears.

With ranges selling out fast last year, pre-ordering your furniture early will ensure you are allocated stock before it has even arrived with the retailer.

When Will Garden Furniture Be Coming Into Stock?

The date of stock arriving will vary dependent on retailer and the product, however garden furniture usually arrives in stock with retailers in late February and early March ready for the spring and summer season.

The date that stock is due to arrive will be displayed on the product page so you are aware prior to purchase.

Will I Have To Pay The Full Amount Before The Item Is In Stock?

Depending on the item and the retailer, you may have to pay the full amount prior to stock arriving. However, there is sometimes the option to pay a deposit to secure the order and pay the remaining amount once stock has arrived.

It is worth noting though, whether you pay in full or pay just a deposit for an item on pre-order, if you change your mind at any point before the delivery, you can of course cancel the order and you will still be refunded the full amount that you paid.

How Long Will It Take To Be Delivered?

There is no set lead time for items when they arrive in stock, however the lead time should be stated on the product page or your order confirmation email. With garden furniture items, the standard lead time is usually up to about 14 working days.

Once an item has arrived in stock, either the carriers or retailer should contact you via text, email or phone call to book or confirm the delivery date.
