Many of the timbers were badly warped, suggesting that the pack had been lying around in the open for a long while. This made it harder to assemble than it should have been, and some of the defects are still visible if you know where to look. Even so I am pleased with the end result, helped by the fact that it was relatively cheap.

Great service from Garden Street in arranging Rowlinson to deliver the Balmoral Corner Arbour which is also great it is just a shame Rowlinson do not provide the correct number of screws and after 9 days neither sales nor support bother to reply to an email sent after spending over 40 minutes waiting for a reply on the telephone support number.
1 Star for lack of support from Rowlinson.

The Arbour was delivered on two pallets and looked like old stock , the main stanchions were warped making it impossible to put together by following the very poor instructions
I reported this with photos last week and I am still awaiting a reply from customer relations

Several pieces arrived warped and we had some replaced before assembly but others ended up being used and causing problems . To their credit Rowlinsons we’re happy to supply new pieces but we missed some whilst painting prior to assembly. The warping presented several problems with the seats and we had to indulge in a “best fit” scenario in order to join the two halves together. Several different screwdrivers were necessary and I chose to replace all the screws for more robust alternatives. More Heath Robinson than expected!

Really well-made components, and looks great now it's built. Took me probably around 5 hours in total to build (but can be done in stages if you don't want to do it all in one go). You do need a decent cordless drill / screwdriver, as you need to drill your own holes, but it's not difficult. Also need a bit of patience to get some of the parts to align properly, because you're building it using numerous separate parts, but the finished product is great. I would totally recommend it, provided you've got the tools & the patience.

The product was damaged during transit and consequently reported to Garden Street who were most apologetic and immediately sent out a replacement, I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. The Rowlinson arbour is of good quality and I was very pleased once it had been assembled. The assembly instruction are easy to follow but some minor adjustments were needed before it came together so I would not recommend it to anyone without any DIY skills

Preparation of the site added to the construction time did exceed 12hours as a one man band. The roof section is the weak link in the structure with too great a span for the unsupported wide section. I did reinforce the roof with three metre length batons attached by being screwed from the outside of the roof.
Overall a challenge completed with immense satisfaction. Good value for the money.

We are very pleased with the arbour although it was not too easy to assemble.
Fitting the back panel was quite hard with two of the screws obviously visible.
We intend to hide these screws with a strip of trellis. Despite this as we said before we are extremely pleased with our purchase and consider it value for money and would recommend the product to family and friends.

Wasn't in the best condition when delivered. Had to contact supplier to replace a cracked upright and had to use filler on some parts. Quite difficult to start with as all parts had to be drilled and some were not finished properly. Downloaded a review from a previous purchaser, who gave some excellent instructions and made construction easier. Now finished and painted, it looks very good, but more instructions with delivery would have been helpful.

The order was easy to make and the delivery was quick. The two packs are heavy and the delivery driver kindly brought them round the back of the house. When we opened the packs, however, there were no assembly instructions. Lots of pieces but no instructions! Full marks to Garden Street for replying to my email enquiry within minutes and attaching a PDF of the instructions. We just need to assemble the arch now!

When will I receive my order?
Delivery Estimates are in working days, and the estimated delivery time for each product is shown above the ‘add to basket’ button on the product page.
Deliveries are mostly prearranged directly with yourself within a few days of placing an order; being booked in directly with a member of the delivery team/carriers. This can help to confirm a working delivery date which is best for you. When ordering, please provide an active mobile phone number to help delivery to be promptly booked in, and to ensure that there is no delay in receiving your order.
Please note, that some smaller items which can be posted or go via small carrier may be dispatched immediately, without contacting you first. If you have any doubts over your order status please contact us.
Will I receive a timeslot for my delivery?
As we use a wide range of carriers for delivery, you may not receive a time slot for your order. With most orders, you would be contacted first to arrange a delivery date, so you know in advance what day delivery has been booked in for. If you know you won’t be available for your pre-arranged day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can pass this on to the carriers to investigate the possibility of your delivery being left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Can I choose a specific delivery date within the estimated delivery dates?
Delivery Lead Times are Estimates; if you’re looking to receive a product by or on a certain date, please contact our customer service team before ordering for help and advice.
Is express delivery available?
There may be occasions where we can dispatch items sooner, should there be space available on a delivery run. If you are looking to receive a product sooner than the estimated delivery lead time, please contact us and we can see check delivery availability to see if this is possible.
Some smaller products are applicable for next day delivery. This will be shown in the stock message on the product page, and at stage three of checkout.
If you no longer require an item or if it just isn’t for you, you can return any product(s) as a change of mind within 14 days of receipt of the good(s). This is assuming that the good(s) are unused, in the original packaging, and in the original resaleable condition. Simply contact us at sales@gardenstreet.co.uk for the return address of any items you wish to return.
Please note that perishable goods (such as turf and bulk bags of soil), and made to measure items (Burbage Fencing/Gates/Railings etc) are excluded from return.
