How warm are firepit sets?They run off either propane or butane, with each kilogram of gas roughly producing 12kW of heat energy. However, the main benefit of firepit sets is the ambience and look of a naked flame. For instance, on a cold winters day a blanket and hat would be more effective than a firepit, as heat is lost in the atmosphere.
Can you cook on firepit sets?You can't cook straight onto the naked flame of firepit tables. If you were to toast marshmallows, this would essentially make a mess or cause flare ups as debris hits the flames. To cook on firepit sets, you need a cooking grid and stand to keep food off the naked flame. LG Outdoor's stand and griddle fits into the Oslo and Monza Firepit sets, and is raised 16cm above the flame. This reduces the food burning, and with this you can enjoy teppanyaki cooking.
