Looks really smart and have been told it gives a classy good impression on entering the drive.

Looks very nice & seems quite sturdy. It has greatly improved the appearance of my garden. However it's assembly is not easy and took longer than expected - many tools required including a drill. Much fettling of parts to get them to fit together properly & not for someone inexperienced in DIY.

I was very disappointed in these bin stores. I purchased two of them and although we did put them together, they are not as sturdy as I would have hoped. Also, the doors aren't aligned properly and the sliding locks aren't as big as they should be plus they barely latch. They will serve the purpose but I would not purchase these again.

Bought to replace the one we'd had for about 6 years from Scott's of Stow, which had blown over several times in windy weather and was finally too damaged to repair. So we chose the Rowlinson one and it does seem a sturdier construction, however we haven't had more windy weather to test it as yet.
I was very pleased with customer services who were helpful and prompt when I needed to contact them for a replacement part which was damaged on arrival. Buy with confidence.

Really please with our bin store, it is sturdy and was not too complicated to assemble. There were a few fixtures missing from our original delivery but I emailed garden street and the got back to me very quickly dispatched the missing parts so was very impressed with customer service.

Very disappointed, particularly considering the price tag. Quality of the wood is poor with several rough areas and an overall feeling of being cheap. Instructions were vague. Would have liked to see labelling of each part so that point A on one part matched to point A of another part, and so on. Even the various screws and nuts and washers were all mixed up together in a single bag. Overall, poor quality and I would not recommend.

Excellent product, was as described which was a nice surprise. I was worried the wood would be flimsy but it's solid, not rough sawn wood. Finished bin is a substantial object & the instructions were easy to follow. All fixingscwere there, nothing missing. I would recommend this product & would buy again if required.

A neighbour had this and it looked OK, so I ordered one. Reasonably happy with the result, although there is a tricky bit during the assembly that could easily be rectified. The two back panels have corner struts. These make it extremely difficult to put screws in at the top and bottom of the panels. If the corner struts could be fitted in afterwards (it wouldn't be difficult), it would be so much easier to fit the key screws in the side of the rear panels. Otherwise, it looks OK and should stop the bins being blown around. (Storm Arwen - I'm talking to you!!)

The bin store when assembled is fine but it is not easy to put together. Although it is not supposed to need treatment I would also recommend that if you do want it another colour, it is painted before assembling. However it is a great improvement to the ugly refuse bins.

Only just put the Double Bin Store together. Needs bit of tweaking-Top openings dont fit properly and need shaving down to fit. Screws for hinges far too long, smaller ones should be provided. Small piece wood missing off one of the top covers. But can be replaced by anyone who is quite handy.
Overall quite pleased, and though it needs 2 people to put it together, I managed it easy on my own.

I never received my goods.

Ordered on 20th April - cancelled on 10th May due to lack of communication about delivery date.

Green Street cancelled order on 11th May

Half an hour later on 11th May courier emailed confirming delivery on 14th.

Monies arrived back in back account 13th May.

Shame really.

This bin store looks really good, is really easy to put together and all in all good value for money. I agree with other reviews that the base is a bit flimsy so could do with fixing an extra strip of wood to strengthen but that is easy enough. I would recommend this bin store.

Very happy with this bin storage unit. The pieces are well made and of good quality. It was relatively easy to assemble with two people putting it together. Instructions were good and easy to follow.
It looks good and easy to access to put rubbish in the bins. I'd recommend it is placed on a flat surface both during assembly and when put its final position.
I can't really criticise anything about this product and would definitely recommend it.

The materials provided appear to be reasonably good quality. Time will tell. The instructions for self assembly were fairly easy to follow. My only comment would be where you have to screw the back panel to the side panel at the corners. This proved to be a little tricky with the small space available for drilling the screws in. However the final product looks attractive and neighbours have requested where we obtained them from.

I had to make a few adjustments as in places it is flimsy. Also the bottom strips (that sit on the floor and would disintergrate quickly) are configured in an odd fashion, but that is because shipping a piece of timber over 2M long would be difficult for the supplier. I shall be replacing this soon, with a hardeood strip.

The lids both need handles so I am going to make these of hardwood too. Luckily I have the wood to do this.

Wood needed treating as well as you could see it had been sitting around in a yard for some while!

A good-looking bin store. The metal hinges and bolts could have been of better quality (we are replacing ours with heavy duty ones) and it probably requires galvanised handles on the lids to facilitate raising them. The rear bolts onto which the curved lids are fixed were very tricky to insert. The instructions need larger clearer diagrams but overall we're pleased.

I bought two double bin stores.Delivery was fine, well packaged but one small damage easily repaired with some wood glue. After reading reviews did wonder what they would be like but quality was okay. First thing is to assemble on level surface, second is bin the long screws that hold the main frame together and get decent wood screws or it will not be sturdy. Clean out predrilled holes and give it a light sand to remove any rough edges. Can be assembled by one person but so much easier with help. Instructions were okay but could be better.

An excellent piece of kit which looks great in our newly redesigned front garden. We are 'greening the grey' in the front of our 1920's house, which basically means getting rid of the crazy paving and adding more plants and open spaces. We will be opening our garden under the National Garden Open Scheme in June, so the bin store will be quite prominent and hopefully much admired! It was easy to install, is well designed and pretty sturdy. I shall be painting it an Olive colour in external shed paint to tie in with the adjacent bike shed.

Over all I was very pleased with the whole process from ordering to delivery of this Bin Shed. I booked a builder to put it together for me which he said was a very simple job. It is exactly as it is described and a neat and tidy way to store two bins . . . But It has an open back and I have no solid wall to push it against. So my poor neighbours on our shared driveway were going to have see the inside of the shed from their car. My builder bought shiplap wood and created a suitable wind resistant back for the bin which looks quite in keeping. Added bonus is the shed is even sturdier. This added much more to the cost for materials and labour than simply providing the option of one ore panel! Finally happy with finished product.

Looks so much better than two bins, had to get handles fixed to lids as tiny awkward lip to push up dodgy, pinched fingers. Lids are heavy, take care if tipping big load of stuff in. Good looks mean I'm happy to have them on show closer to house so overall safer for this senior lady!

The item itself seems to be of good sound quality. My only problem was the assembly - and I know if I had been a more accomplished builder, the finished product would have been even better.
The instructions were a bit scant - and for the novice the skills needed seemed to be akin to requiring professional standards. Power drill/screwdriver hammer etc. vital tools needed.
The instructions need to mirror those of someone like IKEA - showing all of the items; and clearer pictures. Some more pre-drilled holes would have been very helpful - and as it was I had to resort to ringing Rowlinson to get guidance on the hinge positions (who, incidentally, were extremely supportive, sending photos etc. of an assembled item). If Rowlinsons want help in drawing up clear/simple instructions - I'd be pleased to offer my services as a layman.

Good quality. Definitely needs 2 to assemble. Make sure it's on level ground or place small pieces of wood under the corners to bring it level. Mine wasn't exactly level causing the doors to drop a bit when opened. Measure the height of your bin before buying. My bin just clears the base with nothing to spare. Overall a good buy.
I can't compare it to a similar product as I've never had one, but where we live we sometimes have a strong wind swirling around and because the bin store is not close boarded the wind gets through it.

The bin store is a very useful addition to the garden - hiding away unsightly bins with an attractive alternative. The build quality is excellent in part for example it is very sturdy but not so good in others for example slats are not evenly spaced. Despite the difficulty in putting together the product and the build quality in parts I still think it compares favourably to other similar products I have seen

Nic product - make sure you count the screws though!!

Also some of the screws are difficult to insert due to the angled supports on the back frame. Maybe there is a neat way to sort this?
