The Jersey, from Shire's range of garden sheds, combines both a classic design with a large interior. This would make it a preferred choice and storage solution for items such as ride-on mowers, or those who have simply outgrown their existing shed.
The double doors allow ease of access into the interior, and helps to give a classic but attractive frontage. The apex roof maintains this traditional appeal, but the main selling point of the Jersey is the build quality.
Made with slow-grown softwood (for a better stronger finish), and with superior 12mm thick shiplap walls and a tongue and groove floor, the Jersey has build qualities and features of that of premium sheds.
A really nice spacious shed that we use as a kids play shed. The doors are not fully waterproof so it does leak through the doors even when closed. Solid and windows are good. Wasn’t too hard to erect- 2 of us took about 6-8 hours. A year after being erected, only a few problems with the product. We fully treated the shed and we laid down the felt roof with additional bitumin adhesive but still the quality of the felt is not the best so we are having to redo the roof.

Firstly, the ordering and delivery were first class and I have no complaints with any of this.
On the whole the shed is OK, but there are a couple of things which are annoying. After spending a great deal of time making sure the floor and walls were square, straight and level when it came to putting the roof on for some bizarre reason it runs off square all down the length of the shed and does not form a joint along the top. The only way around this was to run a straight edge down the apex of the roof and let the bottom edges run uneven and not line up, annoying but only way to do it. The roof looks a bit of a mess because of this, but I intend to buy some corrugated bitumen roof sheets and make it look better, an expense I was not hoping for or expecting :-(
Other than that the shed is good; good quality and went together fairly easy, except for the roof.
Couple of things to note is that the instructions are all over the place, rather than starting with putting the base down and following through, they describe making the roof structs, and hinges on the windows etc. then go into the actual shed construction. Secondly, they say to give about 18 inches all round when you build, then when you put the windows in you have to fully open them to put some screws in, I built my shed beside a fence and allowed the 18 inches, but when I came to put the windows in 18 inches is no where near enough space to fully open them to get the screws in! And finally the panels do not butt to form a tight joint, there's a gap of 1/8 to 1/4 inch between them. Easy enough to fix with some silicone sealer, but again extra expense, but it needs to be water tight.
Good shed, just needs to be carefully put together and just what is going on with the roof?

Excellent value for the money and easy to construct purchased a second identical unit. Delivery was as scheduled driver very obliging the whole experience was fire proof and would recommend to other people looking for a garden shed/room/storage etc etc

When will I receive my order?
Delivery Estimates are in working days, and the estimated delivery time for each product is shown above the ‘add to basket’ button on the product page.
Deliveries are mostly prearranged directly with yourself within a few days of placing an order; being booked in directly with a member of the delivery team/carriers. This can help to confirm a working delivery date which is best for you. When ordering, please provide an active mobile phone number to help delivery to be promptly booked in, and to ensure that there is no delay in receiving your order.
Please note, that some smaller items which can be posted or go via small carrier may be dispatched immediately, without contacting you first. If you have any doubts over your order status please contact us.
Will I receive a timeslot for my delivery?
As we use a wide range of carriers for delivery, you may not receive a time slot for your order. With most orders, you would be contacted first to arrange a delivery date, so you know in advance what day delivery has been booked in for. If you know you won’t be available for your pre-arranged day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can pass this on to the carriers to investigate the possibility of your delivery being left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Can I choose a specific delivery date within the estimated delivery dates?
Delivery Lead Times are Estimates; if you’re looking to receive a product by or on a certain date, please contact our customer service team before ordering for help and advice.
Is express delivery available?
There may be occasions where we can dispatch items sooner, should there be space available on a delivery run. If you are looking to receive a product sooner than the estimated delivery lead time, please contact us and we can see check delivery availability to see if this is possible.
Some smaller products are applicable for next day delivery. This will be shown in the stock message on the product page, and at stage three of checkout.
If you no longer require an item or if it just isn’t for you, you can return any product(s) as a change of mind within 14 days of receipt of the good(s). This is assuming that the good(s) are unused, in the original packaging, and in the original resaleable condition. Simply contact us at sales@gardenstreet.co.uk for the return address of any items you wish to return.
Please note that perishable goods (such as turf and bulk bags of soil), and made to measure items (Burbage Fencing/Gates/Railings etc) are excluded from return.
